blindspot. We are taught that what a someone teases you, they like you & some day we will all find our "happy ending" with that one special person. Every single movie we see, story that is told there's an unexpected twist where there is a declaration of "love" .... that one that you bend and break all the "rules" for. But we are so focused on having this "happy ending" that this underminded information blinds us from seeing the true signs. We end up having a hard time seperating the one's who want us, from the ones who don't .... the one's who will stay & the one's who will leave. And sometimes maybe this "happy ending" doesn't necessarily include a special someone but maybe just you .... you picking up the pieces and starting over, freeing yourself for something better in the future. And sometimes this "happy ending" is simply just moving on. Or maybe the "happy ending" is just knowing after all the unreturned phone calls, broken-hearts, numerous amounts of effort & pain ... you never gave up hope. So ask yourself, is this person really your "happy ending" or are you simply blinded by the misleading confusing signals they share. Open your eyes and do whats best for you. |
